Emotionally Unrelated

Emotions, that which makes us human
Yet,  we deny ourselves humanity
Wondering why by 2020 the 2nd
Biggest killer will be insanity
We’ve saved ourselves so many times
We beginning to self destruct
When you’re walking through life
Feeling like no one gives a Fuck
Yet if we could just speak truth
Each say what is on our minds
One speak,  one listen,  vice versa
This will be reduced with in our time
That’s not idle chin wagging chit chat
Like how’s your fucking dog?!
It’s along the lines of,  how ya doing?
Are you finding your way through the fog?
It’s all factual,  it’s a fact I feel
Right now I’m highly frustrated
At the lack of communication between
When did caring become outdated?
A planet populated by eight billion
Yet so many of us actually walk alone
Reading other people’s lives daily
Just staring at their phones
It’s like that Oscar wilde quote i love
About giving a man a mask
Imagine if we didn’t have to hide
We could all reveal our souls,  at last
Our present is past, the future way off
So where do hang in space time?
We need to move things forward
Toward a little further down the line
Before we spend the next century
Repeating these ancient cycles
The western world was built on religion
It’s been two millenia since the disciples
Yet even they,  in print,  could accept
A time to let go of fear and regret
What humanity needed for peace
A shiny brand new international mindset
This is the word to spread far and wide
Fully utilising the languages of our time
This simply needs to start with “hello”
That’s a word,  not even a full line
Build upon, practice the speeches
About how leaders exploit our weaknesses
Set the ball rolling firmly down the slope Simply by celebrating your uniqueness
